20-8-2011: Movie song Gaya finished

De endsong Gaya wrote and sang for the Dutch movie called ‘Caged’ is finished. Listen to it here. De movie premiers the 31st of August in Amsterdam.


7-1-2011: Gaya in the Panorama

At the beginning of this year, Gaya appeared in the Panorama with an extensive interview and fotoshoot. No, the shoot was not in a bikini, but it was sexy though. The article covered Gaya’s activity at in the sustainable area as well as the musical.


23-8-2010: Talkshowguest on Dutch television channel Ned. 2

Today Gaya was one of the guests in the talkshow ‘De afvalshow’. No, not about weight loss… the show was about the global food waste. With the other guests (a.o. Bast Westerweel and Arie Boomsma) she talked about the amount of food that is wasted in the West, while 1 billion people in developing countries suffer from hunger. You can watch the show on uitzendinggemist.nl , and it is aired the second time on Saturday 30th of October at 9.30 on Ned. 2.


23-8-2010: Gaya’s making movie music.

Gaya has been asked by director Stephan Brenninkmeijer to make the soundtrack (music, lyrics and voice) for his newest movie; Caged. Together with producer Danny Weijermans (known for, amongst other things, the music of the many Annie M. G. Schmidt productions) she will work on background music as well as the moviesong. 31-5-2010: Gaya in Grazia and Green2 magazine

This week (22), Gaya appears in magazine Grazia. In a personal interview, she talks openly about her private life. The magazine lies in stores as of the 2nd of June . Gaya also appears in the new edition of Green2, a lifestyle magazine for modern conciously living people. The article tells of people who act as 'trendsetters' in the area of sustainable engagement, and the way they implement this notion in their lives in their own personal way. The glossy magazine lies in stores as of the Wednesday of week 24, for the next three months.

13-3-2010: Gaya on radio 3 FM



Saturday evening March 13, Gaya was interviewed at radio station 3 FM, by Annemieke Schollaard. It was quite an interesting chat, especially when Annemieke asked Gaya to saw through a small tree…. Which Gaya respectfully refused of course!

3-12-2009: Gaya on the air

Last Friday Gaya was interviewed at BNR News radio. Peter R De Vries and Wilfred Genee gave some pretty hard questions sometimes. But in then end they agreed that she seemed pretty sweet… All is well that ends well!

Last Wednesday November the 11th, Gaya was invited to the ‘Stop de Crisis’ day, where she advocated for a more sustainable economy. Henk Keilman of course, is on her side (or rather, she on his). And right wing politician Mark Rutte…. Well, she’s working on it.

Saturday October the 31th Gaya appeared in newspaper het Algemeen Dagblad.

26-10-2009

Gaya was honoured to be invited to the Club of Rome Assembly in the Amsterdam Music Harbour. Other invitee’s were: Queen Beatrix, Gorbachov and former premier Ruud Lubbers. Gaya had the chance to talk with mister Lubbers for a while. She told him about her work and cause, and he wishes her the best of luck!

29-9-2009: Bye Bye Babyboom

Because of her involvement in sustainability, Gaya has been asked to participate in a match of ‘Worldsaving’ in the City Theatre of Amsterdam, Saturday the 10th of October.
